“I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust’” (Psalm 91:2).
My sister challenged me to a writing project for fun. She asked me to write about a tree. List three points about a tree, and then write a four sentence paragraph about my tree. She said that it might surprise me about what I can come up with.
My tree…
1. old and strong
2. thick with branches and leaves
3. listens
My tree provides cover and protection, and a place to relax and play. My tree stands firm through storms; it is steadfast and strong. My tree makes gentle breezes. My tree is always patient, always listens, and always understands

If Christ holds the roots within us, then we definitely will not break, and that’s a pretty incredible thing to say, we just need to believe it.
