“For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse” (Romans 1:20).

The following is a recounting of a prophetic dream I had a few years ago.

The Spirit of the Lord came to me in three dreams on separate occasions. The dreams were intended to communicate present warnings; commentaries on the current state of world affairs.

A man bought a house so large that he could not afford the upkeep. The house was collapsing around him, yet he toiled as though there was nothing wrong. After his predicament became plain to see, the man still delighted in the house. He clung desperately to what he thought he had until the house, along with its contents, finally faded into dust. The whole time, the enemy scurried about as a spider observing all that was happening. This was a metaphor of our culture and a dire warning; no one will be able to plead ignorance before the Lord. We cling to what is seen and delight, but soon what is seen will pass away. “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse” (Romans 1:20).

I saw a row of three rotating gears carved out of stone, perhaps, on the side of a cliff. The three gears were equal in size, massive, and rotating clock-wise. Groups of people were carried on each of the cogs of the three gears. As the gears meshed together, the people standing on the cog of the first gear would step onto the cog of the next until reaching the end of the third gear at which time they fell off into the darkness below symbolizing death. Occasionally, people would fall off while moving between gears symbolizing premature death. This process continued undisturbed for a time until the cogs of the first gear began to crumble. One by one, each cog crumbled like dominos, yet the people continued to conduct their business. This process continued until nothing was left of the three gears, and all the people had fallen into the darkness below. A metaphor of life: “For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man” (Matthew 24:38-39).

I was standing at the bottom of stairs in what appeared to be an ancient temple complex. It was night time, and there were torches and fire pits burning all around. Mid ways up the stairs set three stone thrones positioned prominently and purposefully. The thrones represented a satanic trinity. The throne representing the father was flanked on both sides, by thrones representing the son and the spirit, on the step below. Meanwhile, within the complex, people were conversing and carrying on with their business, unaware that Satan was among them.
